How to format numbered lists in table cells by column

I am sure there must be a way to do this, but I haven't been able to figure it out.

I need the numbers to increment down the rows under Objectives and again under Physical skills, and not increment horizontally across and down the rows of the table. Any help in describing how I can do this would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Laurie

Excellent, thank you! I have another issue with this table now, but as it is quite a bit different, I will just ask a new question.  😉

Appreciate your help,

Laurie

In your Table Designer you can specify the direction in the Basic tab by setting the "Numbering" properties to either "Row first" or "Column First".
