Importing .eps files into FM15

I have FM15. In the past, I was importing files as .tif but now I'm required to import them as .eps.  The files are being converted (exported) by using AutoCAD (as .eps).  When I go to import, I get nothing but a grey box and "Cannot display some imported graphics.  The image will appear as gray boxes".  How do I get the file to import?  I don't need to do any editing to the files once its imported.  Any help is appreciated

They're probably coming in fine; they just don't have any thumbnail image to display inside FM. Search around the FM forum for advice on bringing one in.

AutoCad should be able to export an eps with a preview image.

As an alternative you could open the eps in Adobe Illustrator and re-save it as an eps with a previe image.

Or you could drag and drop the eps file(s) onto Adobe Distiller and create PDFs and then link the eps files. This will give you very nice and clear preview images in FrameMaker.
