Keyboard shortcuts

All of a sudden some math keyboard shortcuts are not working.  For instance, cntrl + m ; does not give the operator ?    ?.  However, cntrl +m a = gives the equations aligned on =.  cntrl + m . (period) does not give the multiplication dot.

Have I inadvertently changed a setting?

I do a lot of math stuff and have been using these shortcuts for a long time.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

A reboot generally cures these glitches, have you tried that? I've found FM's keyboard shortcuts are prone to getting clobbered for no identifiable reason; FM9 on WinXP seems particularly sensitive to it, presumably a bug or memory limit or something that's been around for a looooong time, though, as this has been mentioned for many versions.

Thanks but that did not work.  I'm using Vista but... I tried upgrading to Windows 7 a few days ago.  After waiting or a long time, I got a message saying that there was insufficient disk space - not true but I had to quit the installer.  It seems the problem may have started then.  I'm back to using Vista until I have time to mess with Windows 7.
