List of frames above/below not sorted

Since the beginnings of FM the list of Graphic Frames in the Paragraph Designer is ordered in the sequence of appearance (or the creation?) on the reference pages. IMHO this is a bug and I filed it therefore.

If the list becomes longer than just 5 items it becomes difficult to spot the right thing.

IMHO this list should be orders the in the same manner as the lists in catalogues. Hence it also must observe the ini setting for SymbolSortingBeforeAlphaNumeric.

Klaus,

This is another interface inconsistency that has also been pointed numerous times. Many lists are shown in creation order in one place, then in an alpha sort order in another. For example, colours are shown in their creation order in the Designers, but when using the Color > Views window the colours are shown in sorted order. I guess the usability expert that was assigned between 11 & 12 was too overwhelmed with making the icons bigger and adding colour to them over the 18 months between releases to actually address other UI and UX issues...
