Managing page sizes in a book

Using FrameMaker 10, I have a book that has 3 Appendixes, the first of which is 11” x 17”. When I insert this into the book file and select Update Book… from the Edit menu, the page size for the entire book goes to 11” x 17”, which is obviously not what I want. Any thoughts?

goto Format-->Page Layout-->Page size and change the size from there
