Missing images? No, they are present!

Hello,

I'm dealing with this problem since I started working with framemaker. I imported some file from version 7.0 (I'm using version 8.0) and every time I open a file, the program tells me: "some images are missing"; I have to select "Ignore" as answer, otherwise it will show just gray boxes instead of images.

The images are imported as reference, thy are located in a sub-folder: I can open the images, change and save them again with no problem at all, but it still tells me: missing images. But I can't find no missing images!

I think that maybe there is some old reference in some invisible structure: how can I find them?

Thanks for helping me.
Until now, you have resolved all my problem :)

Verena,

Check your Reference pages for any graphics.

Check the Master pages, too.

Doesn't the message tell you which image is missing, by name?

Try to show all conditions (Special > Conditional Text > Show/Hide Conditional Text). The reference to the missing image might be lurking in a condition that is currently hidden.
