I have a script that creates TOC-style Hypertext links in a custom Table of Contents. I am using this syntax:
openObjectId C:/DATA/Scripts/JMCC/20190906_AMM/UPS AMM Build/11-31-01-201.fm:2 1011442
The links work when I Control-Alt-Click on them in FrameMaker. However, when I make a PDF of the book, some of the links fail to work in the PDF. When I look at the links with Acrobat Pro, it appears that the corresponding named destinations are not created in the PDF and that is why the links fail. It doesn't occur with all links, only some of them.
In the above example, when I examine the link, it is pointing to named destination G6.1011442. However, this named destination does not exist in the PDF file. How does the new FrameMaker print engine determine which named destinations get created in the resulting PDF file?
