  • Yes, the workspaces you modify(.cfws = customized fm work space) are saved in: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\FrameMaker\[versionNumber]\WorkSpaces
  • The unmodified workspace files (.fws = fm work space) are present in C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\AdobeFrameMaker2015\fminit\WorkSpaces\
  • The files may be copied from corresponding folders and it would work as an import operation

I finally found the file in which my settings are stored and copied it to the corresponding folder for my new version of FrameMaker.

Workspaces are saved in C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\FrameMaker\[versionNumber]\WorkSpaces\[Structured/UnStructured]

[The one thing I would add is that if you are importing to FrameMaker 15, you need to move the custom saved files into the C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\FrameMaker\13\WorkSpaces\UnStructured\WYSIWYGView\ folder. This is for Unstructured FrameMaker. Not sure about other types of settings. I realized that I needed to go one folder deeper in order for FrameMaker to pick up the workspace that I had saved in the older version.
