When i call p_Install using

gotolink ../../../../../../Documentation/docs/pdf/P_Install:manual title the required PDF opens up but when i call the same PDF from a deeper location: 
gotolink ../../../../../Documentation/docs/pdf/P_Install:manual title, the P_Install does not open. I am using FM2017.

The first link goes up 6 folders before going to Documentation, etc.

The second link goes up 5 folders before going to Documentation, etc.

If you are deeper when calling the second link, it seems that you would need to add ../ to the first link, not subtract ../

I thought when you created a link to open a PDF from within another PDF, the two documents have to stay in the same relative locations to each other?

They do. But it looks like he has two linking documents and one target. So if the second linking document is deeper than the first, it seems like he would need an extra ../ on the second document to get it up to the correct level.
