I have searched for an answer on this one. I have two files on the same computer. I publish one to PDF and all the images show up just fine. I publish the second one and no images. I havechecked all setting I can find and they are the same. I saved everything and restarted my computer and still nothing.
HELP
It looks like two of the graphics I have are either corrupt, of FM just doen't lik them. After I removed them it works fine.
Thank yo everyone for your help.

Can you see the images in FM during edit?
Are the images embedded in the document, or imported by ref?
If imported, cloned on both machines, or on the network?

Hi,
Does it matter which chapter you delete?
Can you add the chapter file to the book again? Can you then publish or save as PDF?
As far as I know publish to PDF and save as PDF are identical. However, I will check this again.
Best regards

Rendering path might matter too:
Save as PDF
Print to PDF
Publish to PDF
Print to .ps & Distill?
… and then of course the setup details for whatever is used on one machine vs. the other.

I have been using Publish to PDF, I found Save as didn't work as well.

And the .sts files are identical, I presume.

The only difference is one chapter in one book.

So perhaps that one chapter is corrupt? You could make a new document, paste the content from that chapter into it, and then import formatting from one of the other chapters. It doesn't take very long to recreate a FrameMaker docment.
Alternatively, you could save it as .mif, then resave as an .fm file.
Or are the links to the images in that one file all broken? If so, repair them.
Once you have worked on the file, put it back in the book and see if things are back to normal.
