Peculiar autonumbering behavior

Hello. I am having strange issues with paragraph autonumbering in a couple of Korean-language documents:
Here is the numbering format: H:<$chapnum>.<n+>\t< =0>< =0>< =0>< =0>< >< >
This will number in the following sequence: 1.1, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 through 1.9, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 through 1.49.

The sequence starts properly at 1.1, but then repeats 1.1 before going onto 1.2. Then after 1.9, it jumps back to 1.1. After that, however, the number sequence is normal.

I have tried using different series IDs (N: instead of H:) to no avail.

 

Any clues, anyone? I am befuddled, to say the least.

After seeing a screenshot of the document (sent privately), this is likely an issue of disconnected pages or text flows. One way to check this: click somewhere in the document and choose Edit > Select All in Flow. Then set the document zoom to 25% and see if all of the content looks like it is selected. If not, you have disconnected pages or text flows, which is making the numbering restart.

There is likely a paragraph with an autonumber between the 1.9 and 1.1 paragraphs that is resetting the numbering. Try this: open the paragraph designer to the numbering tab, put your cursor at the 1.9 paragraph and use your arrow key to arrow down through the paragraphs. See if there are any autonumbers that show up in the paragraph designer.
