Guten Tag,

Andere Suchfenster (F9 etc.) öffnen sich korrekt im Fenster der Software.

So you have 2 monitors - a main one and a second one? FM2017 is running on the main one, and the F7 command search appears on the second? Or is it the other way around - you have FM2017 running on the second monitor and the F7 search appears on the main one?

It's the other way around. FrameMaker is running on the second monitor and the F7 search appears on the main monitor.

That could be a problem - lots of programs expect to run on the main screen and have extra bits of themselves on secondary screens - I'd report it to the Adobe engineers - the bug tracker link is on the main FM forum page.

Hi,

I, too, have two monitors and often run multiple copies of FM at once. Sometimes the different copies are different versions and sometimes they are the same. For example, I may be using different XML applications with different application definition files, or I may want to do repeated searches of different search criteria in different copies.

I would find it convenient if the various dialogs and pods by default opened on the same monitor as the main FM window. It is important to also be able to arrange the setup so that dialogs and pods can all be gathered on one monitor while the other is used for a document window.
