I am having a problem with downloading the technical communication suite 5.  On the "install" screen, it stops at "currently installing adobehelp."  Please advise further. Thanks.

Hi There,

Please visit the link :- http://www.adobe.com/support/chc/

Select any product and install Adobe Help Manager. Once it's installed then run the setup of TCS 5 and see if that makes any difference.

Regards,

Ajit

Is it in the download or when you run the saved download? Make sure that you are running it as a local admin & that you have full rights to your system and an internet connection.

Thank you Ajit, that helped although I could only install the trial version and then update using the Application Manager.

TCS5 is not among the products listed. Where is TCS5? How do I download the Suite?

You should be able to access your software through the Adobe Licensing site; or you could go through the product downloads page, grab the trial installer & use your serial number on that – you’re not doing the subscription model are you? That might change things.

I am trying to download the subscription model. When I try to open the download page, the URL flickers in the address bar. I have tried enabling cookies and putting http://adobe.com into the Trusted Sites but it still doesn't work. I have used IE 11 and Firefox 32. I am running Windows 7 64-bit.

Try using FireFox – Adobe recommends using it when you have issues with IE

As you can read in my statement above, Firefox did not work. I finally tried it with Opera and that browser allowed me to download the software.

Sorry, missed that – did you get the Adobe Help Manager installed first?

The download came in via Akamai. I couldn't tell whether that is the same thing as Adobe Help Manager.
