Publishing with extra info

Hi all, I'm working with a pre-created file. I have changed the number of the file and while it puts the correct page information on the top per the publishing specifics, it places the OLD file number at the bottom of the page in an area that will be cropped off. I know that our quality management system will not appreciate the old file number however I cannot figure out how the creator added that information. Does anyone know how I can get rid of it? I've highlighted the text below. Thanks much.

So I did a test and they are blank text boxes on the master page, but there isn't anything there but the style. Even in the style sheet though, the PN is updated. I'm not sure why its holding onto the old number, but deleting the text boxes on the master pages fixed the problem. Thanks!

If it is, it is hidden. I've checked the master and the reference page. The number is off of the artboard.

Your graphic shows printer marks, which generally mean the content was exported from another file.

Is this a screen capture of your .fm file, is it a PDF file, or is it a placed graphic on your Fm page?

Also, on how many pages does this occur? If only a handful of total pages, just draw a white box on top of the offending text.

If the marks exist on a master page, you could either edit the "marks" graphic in Acrobat or Illustrator, or draw the white box on top of the master page graphic.

I'm guessing we'll find a very easy fix for you...
