Red outline around icons in the book window?

Hi FrameMaker friends:

I am working with some students today and observed red outlines around five icons in their book window. Normally, the outlines are black for both generated files and user files (like the top two in the screen shot).

What important information is the red outline trying to convey?

Looks like they are excluded from the books settings?... Right click "Exclude"
