Is there any method to batch remove conditional tags (both used and unused) from FrameMaker 17 documents without writing or buying a script?

Deleting the tag gives you the choice of converting to unconditional text. That should do what you are asking.

Understood. But when I open the Conditional Tags pod, I want to delete all of the conditional tags at once, not one-at-time.

Then you're likely looking at a script, or a complicated Find/Change on the MIF file.

Select all of the conditionals you want to delete in the Conditional Text pod (with the checkbox) and then click the delete icon. The dialog Matt mentioned will come up. Confirm accordingly.

Unfortunately, that dpes not remove the conditions from the Conditional Text pod/list, at least not in the FM 2020 version.

It also didn't remove the condition tags from the text (although going through that motion implied that it did, based on the pop up dialog that appeared). Back to tediously removing them one at a time. Heavy sigh. Adobe, I've used this product for 30+ years. This should be an option by now.
