Reopening DITA File With Table Results in Table Indent

When I create a table and size columns to get the appearance I want, then close and reopen the file, the table is intended by half an inch. Can anyone explain why? I know how templates and structure rules are reapplied each time a DITA file is opened and understand the overall "on-the-fly" transfomration process that takes place when opening XML files in Frame.

Before answering, I have looked at the following:

  • Table format in template does not have an indent.
  • EDD does not include any thing (that I could find anyway) that would cause the indent to occur; I checked styles applied to all table elements, as well as title when in a table context.
  • Table is in <section> element, which is wtihn a <refbod>
  • I am on FrameMaker 10, using DITA 1.1 Application, with some modifications to the EDD and styles, but no XML specialization

Any help is greatly appreciated

Jason,

What is the exact format override of the tables you see in the document compared to the table format definition? E.g., it is possible to get an indenting effect when the table is right-aligned and the columns don’t fill the text space.
