When I tried to close FM the other day, my computer bluescreened.
I rebooted and everything works fine, but when I start FM now, I get the following message:
FrameMaker: entry for client RH4FMver9 is missing fields (4 required)
Does anybody know what this means and what I should do to resolve the issue and get rid of it? FM seems to work find, but I assume it has to do with the link with RH, even though I am not using RH at the moment.
I am using Tech Comm Suite 2 and I just upgraded to Frame 9 patch 3.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
James

James,
It sounds like somehing got corrupted in your maker.ini file. Open the file in a text editor and try to find the entry for RoboHelp. Place a ";" at the front of the line to comment it out, save the file and try re-starting FM.
(I'm not at a machine that has FM installed right now, so I don't know the specific entry to look for.)

I checked in the Maker.ini file and couldn't find any reference to RoboHelp at all.
I asked my colleague who has the same setup as me and her .ini file doesn't have any reference to RH either and she doesn't get this message.

I checked my maker.ini and that message is from the RoboHelp Server component in the [APIClients] section.
