I can't work out unaided why the table I've used for the note about default layers isn't fitting neatly under the the paragraph "The layers list …" More information on the coding is of course available, but I thought I'd humbly submit just a screenshot first.

I can’t see the table anchor (where is it?) and have you checked whether the graphic has any runaround settings?

I assume you have checked that the table’s left indent is zero and it is left-aligned.

Aha! I had every confidence that leaving people to ask questions would in fact get me to the right answer <vbg> I checked the table properties, and discovered that through careless copy/pasting they had been left at Left = 2". Resetting the left indent to zero has solvedf the problem, for which I am very grateful.

fwiw, the table anchor in the example is in a paragraph by itself; the green one at the end of the text.
