Saving the sizes on panel in Framemaker 9

Adobe Employee ,
Mar 25, 2011 Mar 25, 2011

Hello,

I want to save the size of Document Panel so that when I open it again it I don't have to resize it again

I have a book and on the book panel I do not want to use the Top arrow (Hide & Unhide the panel)

I change the size of the Document panel to see the right margins, I save the document and the book

When I open the book again, changes are lost , I have to resize the document panel again

I know workspaces can save the position of Different but I want to save the changes which I made to resize the panels

Thank for any help in Advance

Vikram

Vikram,

If I understand your request correctly you are out of luck. The applications stores the size of the application window. Inside this window the workspaces store the position and state of the pods and other dialogs. Books seem to always open on the left side, the room in between is available for docked documents.

Bottom line from my observations: There are window sizes, but documents have to use what space is left by other UI elements.
