Scaling an image won't save

I have FrameMaker Version 17.0.1.305.   I can save text changes to XML files.  When I try to scale an image, the image size will change, and I can save and close.   Everything seems fine.  When I re-open the file, however, the scaling changes I made are not there.  It's like I never changed the image size.  I don't understand it.  Please help.  Thanks!

Structured.  Images are not copied.  They are linked to their file locations.

Might this be a setting in the edd? Is there perhaps an object style on the graphic? ...

Thanks for the reply.  I will check it out  and hopefully I can understand the EDD enough to answer.  I've just been busy.

How are you scaling? Are you using the Object Properties dialog box to change scale percent, dpi, or height or width? When you scale, are any scaling attributes added to the image in the structure view?

I go to the Object Properties box and change the Scaling percentage.  I'll have to see if it changes the attributes.  I don't know yet.  Thanks for the reply.
