I have a large book (3000+ pages) which I have to save as multiple pdf files due to customer hardware constraints. Is there a way of doing this while retaining any links and cross references between the books? I am using FM9 on Windows 8.
Thanks
Stu
If you have all of the cross-linked BOOK files open (no need for all of the .fm files to be open), use SaveAsPDF on any of the cross-linked books and select the "Generate Separate PDF for each file" option what happens?

There's an article on this available at PlanetPDF. It's older material from Shlomo Prets, but the basic principles still apply:

Arnis,
Thanks for the info. However, I have read the article and tried to follow it but am having no luck with getting the cross file links to work. I have tried printing the files, saving as pdf and printing to .ps then converting. None of which works.
I hope it isn't me missing something really straighforward!

Arnis,
Thanks, worked perfectly once I had checked the box.
