Some imported jpgs have strange background color

I'm importing a number of jpgs into Framemaker 8. Some, but not all have turned up with a pink background color when imported. This color is definitely not there if the jpgs are opened in any other program. The paragraph / frame background is not set to the color that is shown.

This happened to me once, and it turned out that the application that wrote the JPGs didn't write a good JPG file.

I opened them in Photoshop, did a SaveAs (but used the same file names to force an over-write) and all was well.

My guess is that they're CMYK jpegs. Try changing them the RGB.
