strange erors importing temlate over book

Hi,

I build a new template and edd.

Our technical writer importet the template and edd, into his book. genaraly it works fine but sometimes it's acting strangely:

• titles are not displayed,
• paragraphs have wrong formating

As example problems with ANSI and Title_4

The upper ANSI, is displayed incorrectly, the title is missing.

the lower ANSI, was also displayed incorectly then moved out of title_4 and boom the title was there.

any ideas/hints or triks welcome

Is the problem with importing the new template into an existing document, or is it with the template itself?

You say that the Title of the ANSI does not appear within a title_4. The EDD may not format the Title correctly in that context. Try importing element definitions again, making sure to check the box to remove format overrides. How does that look? Is the element structure shown in the Structure View correct? You may want to use the Structure > Show Element Context (StructureTools > Show Element Context in versions of FM prior to FM 2017) command to confirm that the rules in the EDD are applied correctly.

Dear lynne, unfortunately this did not help, we do now a workaround, just by not putting any thing below the title 4.

but I still search the mistake and let you know when solved.
