Structured Frame Resources (EDD, DTD, Rules)?

Does anyone know of any good structured frame resources?  We are currently using Frame 6 and are looking to upgrade to Frame 11. However, our EDD and DTD seem to be problematic to convert from version 6 to 11 and I am not sure where to start.  Thanks!

Hi,

why should your EDD and DTD be problematic when moving to FM11? Especially the DTD shouldn't be much of a problem to get into FM11.

Best practice would be to download the FM11 trial version, import your structure definitions and see what happens. If the EDD causes some hassle, just use the DTD to build a FM11 based EDD and try to get the context rules of your old EDD included. Then look at the RWR and see what you might need to have to change there (I don't think it will be much, if any).

Then try to open your FM6 template in FM11 (you'll probably need to convert to MIF first) and see what happens - if everything looks fine just save as FM11, if not fix it. Afterwards you might want to import the newly created EDD.

The results you get show you if it really is problematic to do the conversion - but my bet is, that it isn't as problematic as you might think.
