Text Symbols shown incorrect

FM 7.2 p 158
Win XP p2
Adobe PDF printer is default

Symbols like Forced Line break shows as a "2"
Non Breaking space shows as a "3"

etc.

Not all though. Paragraph symbol is shown correct

This applies to all fonts!

Not appearing in e.g. Word or InDesign

So. ???????????

These symbols were (at least in the past) displayed using a font called
"Frame5Font" (fm5font.ttf). I would want to first make sure this font is
loaded. Uninstall and reinstall if it's already loaded.

It is loaded (customer's pc)

and it is not installed on MY machine (and on that everything is OK)

I've had occasions where the symbols displayed exactly as you describe, thomas, and a reboot or in worst case reinstall cured what ailed it. Hasn't happened in several years, though, maybe by now I've learned "just don't do that!" whatever "that" is.

Never tracked down the cause, but somewhere along the way something clobbered the visual display of the fm5font.ttf.
