Track Text Edits not displaying green underlines when adding text

• Framemaker 9
  (The upgrade had no new features that I could use, I far as I could see.)
• Windows 8
• Very high powered gaming laptop
  (I use them because they have the most oomph.)

When I add content, the green underlines do not display (nor does the text turn green). When I delete, it works fine, even on the text I just added (which it shouldn't, since it should still be conditional).

Is the condition for text you've added showing up in the status bar?

I actually solved this problem by closing FrameMaker and restarting my computer three times. Yes, it required three restarts, but it worked!
