Where is the pdf setup file in Frame 12?

In Edit Preferences in Acrobat XI, I can find Save As Pdf but there's no Framemaker there.

In Frame 12 Edit Preferences, there's no PDF setup.

Where do I find the setup for the "default" Save As Pdf?

Thanks in advance.

Acrobat has never had any preference setups directly related to FM.

In FM, Format > Document > PDF Setup...

Note that is a document level configuration only and a global FM preference. You also will get the PDF Setup dialogue when you just do a SaveAsPDF from FM. The settings for this are "sticky" when you save the document.

In Save As Pdf, I want to change the default to RGB instead of CMYK, turn ON View Generated PDF, and change the default PDF Job Options. Is there no place to do this?

When you click the Save button, FM pops up the PDF Setup window first to allow you make any changes in how the PDF is to be created:

But no changing the default settings so that it comes up the right way every time, then?

As I said before, it's a document level setting and it's "sticky", i.e. whatever you defined for the document, will be used the next time around.

Note: a template is also a document.

OK, I understand what you're saying (about "sticky"). It's not my experience though.

Will try to see if I can track down what I think is going on.
