I create a workspace, I save it. After a few days, the workspace disappears - including the worksapce I saved. Again, this is AFTER SAVING the workspace. There is nothing that I know that i am doing that is causing this. Any ideas?

That sounds like either a rights issue or some sort of "floating" user profile. IIRC the workspace files are stored in your C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\FrameMaker\version\WorkSpaces\ area.
Ugh. And I don't have permission to change those. That's utterly annoying. Another reason why our team needs evolve out of FrameMaker and into a topic based authoring software. What a headache.

I'd copy off a copy of the workspace settings and then get your IT dept to copy it into that location I mentioned. Then at least it would be persistent until you needed to change it again.
