Hi there,
maybe someone encountered this already:
the new publish to PDF does not work at all... the function starts generating output and the log file says all is fine.
However, the PDF file is nowhere at all.
Saving as PDF... does not work anymore either, which was just working fine in 2017.
What could be the issue?

First make sure that you are on the latest release of FM2019. IIRC to publish to PDF, you need to edit the settings in the Publish pod. Regarding Save As PDF, do you have an instance of the Adobe PDF printer installed & visible in your Windows list of printers? There have been instances where it fails to get installed. If it's there, have you tried printing to it?

Thanks, Jeff, for the quick answer.
Well I have the latest version AND I have set the PDF-settings in the publish pod.
I have also found out, that the publish works for the high quality print version, but not for other offered formats, such as PDF-X or so.
The save as has, as mentioned before worked with the 2017, so my system indeed has the Adobe PDF printer - it works also fine publishing from other sources than FM.
No idea why the new FM does not like it.

And what happens when you do the save as vs. printing directly to the Adobe PDF printer?

It sounds like the problem in outputting via the Publish pod has to do with your particular computer setup.
Since you can get the High Quality setting to work, you should now be able to compare the differences 'tween the HQ and the other (PDF-X, etc.) settings to come up with the offending setting.
