Hi,
When i save a ditamap as Book 12.0 (*.book), Framemaker creates the nested structure (which is fine) and also creates logical folders for parent DITA topics.
Problem: All the logical folders created have the folder names based on the Topic Title.
For example: I have a ditamap as depicted below:
Parent A (Getting Started)
Child A (Login to Product)
Child AA (Home Page)
Parent B (Common App Feature)
Child B (Export)
After Save as Book, I get the following:
Getting Started (Logical Folder)
Child A
Child AA
Common App Feature
Child B
As you can see, the Parent Topic is a logical folder with the topic title. The child topics get the file name.
Can Framemaker be configured so that i dont get the topic title in the Parent Logical Folder and even there i can get the file names. If yes, what must be done. Can you please guide me with this.
We use FM12 to publish Responsive Help and these titles in the Logical Folder end up being a HTML file name. If there are lengthy topic titles or special characters in the title, our application does not display our help. This is leading to lot of issues.
I have used the ditaoutput-fm.ini file with various combinations but with no luck.
Can someone help me with this.

Sharada

Hi Amit,
I have FM version 12.0.4.445, which is the latest. But i still don't see the change. The output folder structure for HTML5 help still shows topic title for the parent topic.
Example of folder structure for the Generated HTML5 help:
(Parent Folder with Topic title) Understanding Audit
(Child Folder) <filenamechildA>
(child Folder) <filenamechildB>
What we are looking for:
(Parent Folder) <parentfilename>
(Child Folder) <filenamechildA>
(Child folder) <filenamechildB>
Please let me know if I have missed anything or there are some settings i must make to see the changes implemented in the patch.
Thanks
Sharada
