I am using Window 10, FM 2019

Picture 1: Design in FM. Titel and reference are designed in a very dark blue.

Picture 2: Output im PDF.  Result is a grey rather dark blue.

Picture 3: Setting   - I have tried serveral other PDF settings with the same result.

Was can be the problem?

How is the color defined in FrameMaker?

Can you give us the RGB and CMYK color values of the color (View > Color  > Definition).

cmyk : 17,3| 4,7|0|71,8

rgb : 28|60|72

An other observation: If I choose "konigsblau" instead of the blue I have defined,  the result of the PDF will be blue , but darker than displayed in FM.

Thanks for confirming Andreas. We will provide an option in Update 1 (coming out in a few weeks) which would resolve this. Please use distiller checkbox in interim.

thanks,

I just ran into this same issue. It appears that FM is outputting CMYK values for my text colors, not RGB.

I enabled the Distiller checkbox, which fixed the problem and restored the correct color in the PDF output.

However, the reason I am posting is that I have update 1 installed, so the issue is apparently not fixed (unless I am missing something, which might certainly be the case). My version is 15.0.1.430.

Cheers,

Sean

With update 1, there is an option in General tab , Convert to RGB color - please use that without selecting Distiller option.

thanks

Thanks. I was confused by that, because my text and such should be RGB to begin with and not need converting. Also, I was using distiller. 😕

Thanks for the help.
