Hello!

I've got a problem with FM which bothers me since years.
Maybe someone got a solution for that?

I need a "hanging indent" - but on the right side.

For example when i have a TOC in which some entrys are too long for one line i actually have to enter manualy linebreaks to have a right indent.

Is there a way to have this done by FrameMaker?

I appreciate every recommendation

Regards

Thomas

Hi Thomas,

I do not know, if this fixes your problem.

In the Paragraph Designer in the Advanced tab change Minimum to a large value, e.g. 200 %.

Change Maximum to a lower value, e.g. 100 %.

Then the first line will break earlier and the second line will be right aligned.

Possibly you need an additional tab before the page number. You can set this on the reference page of your TOC file.

When there is only a single line this additional tab does not matter.

Best regards
