FM12: "Paste Special" options are not working

In Framemaker 12, I suddenly have lost the ability to use the "Paste Special" option. I see the option in the Edit menu, but when I try to use it, nothing happens. Regular paste seems to work fine, but I use Paste Special all the time! Any ideas on how to fix this annoying situation? Thanks!

• Is the menu entry "Paste Special" enabled or disabled, when you see the option in the Edit menu?
• Try the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+v.
• Does FM open the "Paste Special" dialogbox? If yes, what does the box show? Give us a screenshot.

Hi Lothar,

To answer each of your questions:

• The menu entry "Paste Special" is enabled when I see the option in the Edit menu.
• The shortcut Ctrl+Shift+v doesn't do anything at all.
• FM does not open the "Paste Special" dialogbox. When I select Paste Special from the Edit menu, nothing happens at all.

Hi Barb,

Yes I have, several times and I'm not seeing any other weirdness with Windows or clipboard memory or anything that helps me understand what has happened here. Very weird.
