Framemaker 2017 continuously crashes

When I try to package my book, FM2017 would just stop working. A dialog is displayed to close the program.

Situation occurs as follows:

My book consists of multiple standalone books (which are treated as chapters), of which I choose which books to exclude or include in my new book.

If I choose to package my book, with 3 standalone books, the packaging process is successful.

However, if I choose to package with 4 books or more, Framemaker would just stop working.

Please help as this is very frustrating.

Are you all patched up? Have you tried creating a sample set of new docs to test with? If it still breaks, then you know that you've uncovered a bug and it's not your docs. Support for that "master book of books" concept has been a bit shaky over the years.

This could be a memory problem as well.

However, if you can reproduce the issue with a few lightweight test files, you should report at adobe.com/go/wish.
