FrameMaker 2019: Responsive HTML5 publishing and indexes

FM 2019, when publishing to Responsive HTML5, has built-in search functionality. Enter a key word and search will display its occurances in the document, hyperlinking the results.

If only publishing to Responsive HTML5, maybe a useful alternative in that type of publication for indexing?

Wonder if an ExtendScript could be written to hyperlink/buttonize words in a pseudo-index word list, placed for example, at the end of a document, with an action that would populate the search function with the selected (clicked) "index" word, trigger the search, display the hyperlinked search results for that word in the Responsive HTML5 UI, as is now displayed for a standard search?

Maybe an interesting option, if it can be done?

Best Wishes,

S
