Hello,

I am experiencing this strange issue with one of my book.

After printing the book, when I open the PDF, it opens on the page 39 instead of the first page of the PDF.

I have verified the following as part of the self troubleshooting:

1. Verified the PDF setup screen.

2. Verified the page numbering. The page number n the PDF is also correct.

NOTE: I know that PDF properties can be modified after generating the PDF. But I am looking for a permanent resolution that fixies the issue in FM itself.

Hello Avanis82846714,

Not sure whether this will work as a permanent solution or not, but worth a try.

In FM book, go to Format > Document > PDF Setup. (I am using FM 2017. This path may vary if you are using some other version) Here, you make changes to the PDF page settings as you have done in the above explanation, and save the book file.

Now try converting the PDF. This *may* work.

Thanks,

Vinay

Greetings! Vinay,

Can't thank you enough!

I thought it was the same screen accessed from the two different locations. But, looks like, you have to select all the files and the book and go to Format > Document > PDF Setup. Then just update it one more time.

Thanks,

Avani
