I'm getting FrameMaker 2019 availability notifications. I have a TCS Suite, which has FM 2017 installed. Under "Help" the update option is greyed out.
How do I update the existing FM 2017 to FM 2019?
The "Help > Update" option is only for patches within that version. Contact Support or your Adobe reseller to purchase the upgrade to TCS2019.
I'm eligible for the upgrade because I am paying for the suite as a subscription.
My Adobe Creative Cloud apps update automatically. TCS does not.
So . . support is my only option? They want me to uninstall and then reinstall the new version.
Seems like they could beef up their installation system for TCS to work as seamlessly as it does for Creative Cloud.
But . . . that's just me . . . what do I know?
