If you're creating a .pdf at some stage in the process, my first guess is – make sure the font you're using can be used in a .pdf

Raj, Aren't you trying to create a pdf file? If so, the font being used for the Russian Character needs to be a font that is allowed to be embedded in the pdf. You could also be having a character encoding problem. What font are you using (include the foundry if not a Windows standard font) and if you can determine it what encoding is being used for the font.
