Steps to reproduce:
1. Open any FrameMaker 2015 document
2. Edit document
3. Save document
4. REopen document.
5. Changes not saved.
Especially annoying when doing import graphics, old one stays even after putting in new one.
Current work around -
edit document twice then save. Could the backup file be the problem? Is Frame creating more than one backupfile and therefore the backup must update first before the primary?

This just start happening or has it been this way since day 1?
Have you got enough rights to wherever you’re saving the docs?

This has been happening since day 1 and it happens to all members of our Tech Pubs team. We upgraded to this version of FrameMaker in January of 2016. It did not happen with FrameMaker 2011. We all have full rights to the files and directories. It happens on our local hard drives and our shared drives. The changes do not save the first time you save them.

This has been happening since day 1 and it happens to all members of our Tech Pubs team. We upgraded to this version of FrameMaker in January of 2016. It did not happen with FrameMaker 2011.

1. Yes other documents such as word, visio etc are being saved properly in all locations.
2. It seems to happen more often than not, I have not really calculated the percentages
3. We do not have patch3 how can we get that?

Is this only with Structured FrameMaker or does it also occur with FrameMaker 12?

we are not using framemaker 12 or structured framemaker, we are using FrameMaker 2015. It did not happen with FrameMaker 11.

We are experiencing the issue on all framemaker files at all locations on three separate local hard drives plus several network drives. Can you please tell us how to get or download patch3? we need to try this fix first.
