will not open FM15 files

system states the files are locked.  have restarted system, still no open files i created.

Do you see any .lck files? Are you using any source control system?

You should be getting a message saying that the file is locked & do you want to override this. If that’s not happening, you could try renaming the file to “filename.fm” from “filename.lck” and then try opening it. Did you have some crash occur that caused your session to leave locked files around?

Simply delete the .lck files. Do NOT rename them to a .fm extension as these are only small stubs and do not contain the actual .fm file information and could overwrite your actual content file.

Sorry, that’s right, I forgot that the main “filename.fm” file is already there; it’s been so long that I’ve had to deal with locked files.
