Basic shapes have disappeared

Hi! It seems the circle/square/polygon shapes have disappeared from the shape tool. Comics, FLoral, Typographic, and my scanned shapes are still available, but I really just want to make an octogon. Any help?

Have a look under the Ruler!
I have no idea why they got moved there, it doesn't make sense to me, but that's where you should find them.

This notice appears the first time you use shapes... it is easy to overlook and to dismiss if you're not paying attention.

I think this program is not very user friendly and a lot of it like the shape tool makes no sense. 

Aspects of draw were much better.  Adobe had some great things with Draw and Sketch and a shame they dropped them.
