Cannot add text

I'm using Fresco for Windows, and it doesn't give me the option to add text.  The menu bar on the left doesn't have the "T" symbol. It goes right from the Shapes buttom (triangle and circle) to the eyedropper. I feel like I'm missing something obvious, but I can't figure out what it is.

Fresco for Windows doesn't yet have the text type tool. Hopefully it will be coming soon! Will Eisley, Adobe Product Manager, posted in this thread that they are working on it - feel free to go there and add your vote for Windows support:
