Change in canvas size on Adobe fresco, crashed the app and deleted drawn details

I was drawing a picture, I had it in a different height and length then what I actually used. I wanted to change the size at the end. I made sure the size would not cut anything out. But while changing sizes, the app crashed and when I reopened it a lot of details that I had drawn were lost. When I look at the layers, it is as if one half was just erased. It might have happeened because I changed the size, but that didn't happen while I was changing it and suddenly after a crash stuff just disappeared and I can't undo it.

I don't know what to do, I don't plan on redoing all of that effort I just want my pervious state back.

Hi @Vemely,

I'm sorry to hear about the crash and the lost details—it must be frustrating. To assist you better, could you please share the following details?

1. The version of Adobe Fresco you're using.

2. The operating system and device (e.g., iPad, Windows, etc.).

In the meantime, please try the below:

  • Check if your artwork was auto-saved to the cloud. You can find it by opening Fresco and navigating to Your Work > Cloud Documents.
  • If you saved your work locally, ensure you’ve checked the saved files on your device.
  • Restart the app and check if the missing details reappear.

If the issue persists, please let us know. It would also help to have a screenshot or more details about the steps you followed before resizing. We'll do our best to help you restore your work.

Looking forward to your response!

Best,

Abhishek Rao
