Fresco does not have an option to turn a brush into a dashed line.

You would have to continuously lift and drop the pen to achieve that sort of result. Unless you can find and install a specific dashed line pen I think you would have trouble creating the effect evenly.

Fresco doesn't have a dash line, but you can create your own brush, which could be dashed, using Photoshop and save that brush to a library, library that you can open and use in Fresco.
You can also use an already dashed brush, for example Kyle Webster has some dashed lines for shading work in his screentone series (special effects brushes) that while not what you are looking for, prove that it's possible.
See also the "dotty" ones from the letterer series (see below)

If you create such brushes, be sure to remove any pressure and tilt control on them, so the effect is even (unless you want it with variations).

If you need guidance to create brushes, let me know...

Brushes from Kyle Webster are available here:
https://www.adobe.com/uk/products/photoshop/brushes.html
or directly through Fresco (open brushes panel, see "add brushes at the bottom"

and then, click on "discover new brushes"

For basic help, be sure to have a look at the help files, directly from the app (click on the top question mark icon, then go to "online help"

Brushes are organised into folders, tied by a theme. "comics", "lettering" etc...

Sometimes themes are seasonal too. You need to download the pack and organise them in the app.

You can also create brushes yourself in Photoshop and share them through the libraries system (again, refer to the help files for that)

Hi @ZEESHAN31639272vgw6,

Thanks for reaching out. To add Kyle T. Webster's brush in Adobe Fresco, you can follow these steps:

  • Visit the Adobe Brushes website: https://adobe.ly/3tWTgeb
  • Look for a brush set that includes dashed line brushes or similar to it.
  • Download the brush or brush set to your computer or device.
  • Once the brush is downloaded, open Adobe Fresco on your device and import brushes manually: (https://adobe.ly/3vyAV81).

 I hope this helps!

Best,

Anshul Saini
