Extreme Lag

I've just started expericening the extreme lag others have mentioned and uninstalling/reinstalling did not help. Is there a solution yet? I have edits due tomorrow that I can't complete!

Have you tried working offline? I'm not sure if this will help at all, just wondering if the lag is due to the wait between device and server communications. Just a random thought, not a guaranteed solution.
