Fill a vector shape

Is there a way to quickly fill a vector shape in Fresco? Say I drew a star with the vector brush. It seems that using the paint bucket tool would fill that star with pixels rather than a vector fill, right? So, if I can't use the paintbrush tool, what would I use and how would I do it?

It is my understanding that a Vector shape that you draw will be filled with Vector. A pixel shape will be filled with Pixels. Fresco separates Vector layers from Pixel layers so anything added to a Vector layer will also be Vector, including the fill.
