Fresco 2.5.0 Shape Fill and Select

Before the new 2.5.0 update, you used to be able to fill and select using the circle, square, and polygons provided from the shapes tool (now moved to the ruler). I have been unable to figure out how to make that selection. If anyone has figured this out, any help would be much appreciated.

(I am using the Windows 10 version of Fresco.)

There is a little pop up which indicates that you need to 'long press' on the ruler to access the circle, square and polygon.

I'm not sure that it can be used to select an existing portion of another part of your image, but you can definitely fill a shape or trace around it.
