No enough storage space...though it is! Bug???

Hello!

Creating a new project in FR on ios 13.1 iPad Pro 12.9 (first gen) doesn't work for me. A window pops up with the message that it needs at least 3 GB of storage space. But there is 8 GB of unused space on the iPad.

Is it a bug?

I already reinstalled the app a couple times with no effect.

I'd really appreciate if someone could come up with a solution.

Hi All,

If you get that error again, try to restart your devices.

Let me know if that works.

Sheena

Hi Oliver.

This is indeed some sort of bug (https://community.adobe.com/t5/Fresco/I-have-30GB-space-free-but-the-app-says-it-needs-3GB-and-that-...) that seems to have something to do with discrepancy between the estimate of storage space reported by iOS and the storage space reported by Fresco.

I'll post as soon as I know something more.

Thanks for your patience; I know it's frustrating.

Sue.

Oliver. Does this behavior repeat (sounds like it does)? If it does, would you send me a screenshot of the error message you're seeing? Thanks for your help with this.

Now, it seems to work...I don't know why. It seems to occur randomly.

Oliver. Hmmm... I'll pass that along but if you see the alert again, if you could take a screenshot it would be great.

I get the same message. Just bought 12.9’ iPad Pro w/256GB running iPadOS 13.1.2. Procreate installed perfectly and I will continue to use Fresco on my iPad 6th generation. I do expect to fully migrate to a Fresco in a future release on the iPad Pro as it is precisely the reason why I upgraded. Thank you for the acknowledgement and happy it wasn’t just me.

I was in error iPad. Upon purchase iPad was running under 12.1.2 but read 13.1.2 iPadOS downloaded. After ensuring 13.1.2 installed I was able to download Fresco successfully. Sorry for any confusion as I am a great fan of Adobe’s Creative Cloud.

Got Fresco needs more space error running on Windows 11. I show plenty of space on the specified drive, and even my C: drive has double the shown need?
