Adobe Fresco WON't save my progress

I painted a blob in fresco, then decided to trace white lines on top of it on another layer. The app says it saves to the cloud automatically, so when I hit the Fresco Home Button, it SAYS it is saving, then it takes me back to the Fresco Home screen, showing all my paintings/history.

HOWEVER, when I click back on that same painting to continue editing it, the previous changes I made are gone! What is the point of saying that you are "Saving Changes" if you really aren't?! Please fix this!

HI Dayleehop.

I'm really sorry your work isn't being saved. A couple of quick questions:

What device are you on? If you're on an iPad please message me through the app (tap the gear icon in the upper nav of the Home screen the from the Settings menu About > Report a bug); your device/app information will automatically populate the email.

What version of the app are you using?

Is this happening repeatedly? Or has it happened before? Or is this the first and only time (I know even once is awful)?

Had this drawing synced/saved previously?

Anything additional you can tell me will be helpful.

Sue.

Will you try creating a new document and see if you can repeat the behavior in a new drawing?
Would you be willing to share that drawing with me so we can see if we can repeat this data loss using it? I can send you instructions to do that. (Data loss can occur when drawings aren't "closed/saved" prior to closing the app, but it sounds like you did that.)

Okay I just did another one. I haven't had any issues in this new one, but
I will test other things and let you know.

I'm hoping that it was some sort of a bug in that document but please keep me posted if it continues to happen with new/different drawings.

If it does, I'll want you to share one of them with me.

Okay, the same issue happened again. I'll explain in more detail this time:

First I painted with watercolor brush. I worked on it a couple days, and
each time it saved correctly. No issues

However, when I decided to use a vector brush (which automatically created
a new later), I drew out a design on top of the watercolor painting, backed
out of the program, it said it saved, but when I went back in, my progress
on the vector brush later was moved off center and partly deleted.

Maybe combining the vector and raster is the issue, but they're on separate
layers, so I don't know why this keeps happening.

Absolutely this should not be happening. And based on what you've told me, I'm unable to reproduce it. But I'm going to keep trying.

A coupe of questions so I can try to do exactly what you're doing:

* When you draw with the vector brush. Then close the document. And allow it to sync. Is the deletion of that edited content immediate? Or does it disappear when you leave an return to the app?

* How many layers? Just the two (one Live Brushes and one Vector)?

* What is your canvas size (there are some limitations with Live Brushes on the first-gen iPad Pro)?

* Which watercolor brush are you using?

Any other details you can give me about your drawing will be helpful with regard to me duplicating the problem.

I am having the same issue on a Surface Pro 5.

Working entirely in vector.  Randomly, work I have done will be gone when I reopen the app after syncing.  Additionally, any vector layer that I make earising edits to will not save the edits upon reopening the app.

YES! This is exactly what happens to me when I erase on a vector layer (but
on the 7th Gen iPad)!!! I haven't opened or used Adobe Fresco since I
started this thread. Will someone tell us if there will be an update to fix
this soon? Or at least when Adobe illustrator mobile will come to the app
store?

So sad that this stills happening.

I'm using an Ipad 14.5.1 (6th gen).
I recently open an old drawing that I saved on May 2021 and now 6 pixel layers are gone. The layers are there but there isn't any content or pixels, they are transparent! 😞
